Appleton Area Health partners with The Appleton Ambulance Service to provide Advanced Life Support (ALS) to the community and surrounding area. In addition to full 24-hour emergency and non-emergency service coverage, the ambulance service also provides hospital-to-hospital transfers and gives ground support for helicopter and fixed-wing transfers.

The service operates two fully-equipped ambulances that include heart monitor/defibrillators. It is staffed by EMT’s and paramedics who have completed training as certified by the state.
